Sweet Tooth

I've always been a sucker for sweets.
In fact, I have this personal goal to successfully make all sweets that exist in the whole wiiiiiide world by the time I pass away (hopefully not from diabetes type 2).  I am gluten-free, but that doesn't stop me from making wheat-based goodies as well and passing them around to friends, family, neighbours... street hobos.  When my mom calls from Toronto, one of her classic questions is whether I've stopped eating sweets yet (never mom, never).  When someone asks me to pick a restaurant, I will be largely biased towards one with impressive dessert selection.  When I go out with riends, they always know I will order dessert before dinner (how else can you ensure that you'll have enough room for dessert?)

So it's not a surprise that as I was sifting through last year's food photography to update the site, I found most of my creations were tooth-rotting-coma-inducing-lip-smacking sweeties.  Stick around because the next few food posts are shares of some old sweeties, many made specifically for some of my old sweeties, by this sweetie right here.
